However, since our CPUs are not fast enough to reach 60FPS in the open, we can't use the hack as it is and forget about it, so in practice it will have to be disabled for the outdoors.

Epigramx predicts that a couple CPU generations down the line we could see CPUs capable of consistent 60 fps performance. There's also the possibility that updates to Cemu could bring 60 fps within reach for current hardware, as the emulator becomes more efficient. In the meantime, it seems likely this is just the beginning for the 60 fps hack. As epigramx mentions, the next logical step is to make it change the frame cap dynamically when entering shrines, or make it an in-game toggle, from 30 to 60, to keep performance smooth in the overworld and in shrines.

Okay, I see what you mean now. You wanted me to prntscrn the game when it was fullscreened. Turns out that in the 'problem' version s the game is running at the right resolution, so this issue is void. What made me think it wasn't full res was that antialiasing wasn't set to "disabled" like I had it in 1. Also, the menus in BOTW are lowres-looking regardless of game resolution.

Also, the stutter on some of the games can also hinder your gaming experience as it is very annoying especially on more taxing games. To tackle both these issues I have compiled a tutorial for you which will help you fix the stutter problem and also offer you an alternative to the long shader compilation time.

Once this step is done you can delete the Zip file that you just extracted. A dropdown list will appear. What this step does is stop the precompiled cache from being created making Cemu use only GL cache share cache. What this means is that every time that you shutdown your PC, the very first time that you compile your shaders, it is going to do the long shader compilation. You will notice that the second time, the shader compilation takes very little time to complete.

According to my counting, it took around 30 secs. Load up your Cemu Emulator and also fully compile your shader cache. Make sure that debug option is turned on. Once the shader is fully compiled close Cemu.

Now you have to copy the compiled shader cache and place it some where safe. To do so go to below location depending on your graphics card:.

Using this your game will launch much quickly. And there you have it, you will have a stutter free experience on all your games using Cemu from now on.

This is perfectly normal if the emulator is still building an OpenGL shaders cache or a Vulkan pipeline cache. If there is a GPU driver update the stalling may return for Vulkan because the transferable doesn't cover all its caching needs. If otherwise it still stutters it may be a system that run out of RAM and now it covers its memory needs by using a drive.

This can be normal on slow machines. However there are very drastic ways to improve that in Cemu. Alternatively for more accuracy use the static fps mod but the target fps should be reached in that case for the physics to feel correct. For the most accuracy and the fewest bugs the game should either run statically at 30FPS or without an fps mod at all.

The resolution of the game can be set to lower with a graphic pack especially if the GPU can't handle it. Note: Various of these issues exist both on higher and lower than 30 FPS but in an equivalent way, because the game expects a constant timestep for these features. If they still persist try the static fps mod at preset 30 or no fps mod at all. That option will have a small performance impact but it becomes zero if the PC GPU load is extremely low to the point of always be done rendering before the emulated CPU expects results.
